So I was diagnosed with Crohn's a few weeks ago after being in the hospital. I am feeling pretty miserable lately, 103 fever today stomach pains and joint pains. I have my first appointment with my doctor on Thursday, do you think I should call today because I'm feeling like this? Or should I wait until Thursday. My stool is solid but has a lot of mucus, and I'm not going very often.
Any and all advice is appreciated!

I would call the Dr office and ask them what they recommend for you to do. Good luck!

I called but I'm kind of stuck. Because I'm a new patient and they haven't seen me yet there's nothing they cons do and they won't see me sooner. They told me to call my primary or go to a walkin. I don't see what any of these can do. And if I call my primary I'm going to be told to go to the emergency room which I don't want to do. It's all frustrating.

Did you take anything for the fever? Tylenol could help, possibly. What are you eating? When I'm feeling awful, I tend to go to a liquid diet and just eat soup and yogurt. Hopefully you can hang on until Thursday. If not, there is always the ER. Have you been vomiting? Are you able to go to the bathroom (no blockage)?

I took a Percocet for the pain and it's bringing my fever down as well. My primary is squeezing me in to try to avoid an er visit. I'll let you know how it goes
