Hi I'm Corrie tuesdayi told my boss i have to leave workdue to the fact i was so sick and sore he started harrasing me sayingyou go to the bathroom to much do it on your breaksi said i cant do nothing about it {beore this happend i took two days holiday cause i was too sick} anyways he said you were sick for two days last week you should have done somthing about it then i said i was in the hospital! then i said im going to ask about surgery cause i cant do this no more im sore my joints my back ache he said you better save up holidays for it then i was so mad i just walked out i phoned work left a message saying i cant be in untill further notice they kepp phoneing me telling me to phone every night and keep them posted is that right of them to do that? what should i do about it? i was off a different job 2 years ago for a whole year cause i couldnt work and im in the same state as then
 
is your job something that could be done from home? Your boss seems like he dose not care. Im not sure how things work in Canada, but in the states Id call BOLI. They could point you to whom to talk to your boss.
If you condition is getting to where work is not working out id look into disability. May be some type of social security.
 
thank you he doesnt care ive been trying to get disability i just dont know how ive been trying to look up who to cantact in alberta but i get nothing but tax return stuff its horrible

I am sorry to hear you are having to deal with this while you are not feeling good.

It is obvious your boss has no idea what IBD is and what you are going through.

I hope you get all the help you need soon!!

Talk to the head manager and put an end to this ill let you know what they

I was going to suggest talking to your bosses boss. Do they have a Human Resources office? If so I would contact them and let them know what is going on. Your boss not only has no idea about IBD, he or she doesn't care to find out.
