Not sure if this was already posted...

New restrictions in air travel on some or all flights indicate that on international flights coming to the U.S., passengers will have to remain in their seats for the last hour of the flight without any personal items on their laps. No word yet on Domestic flights.

I guess this is in light of the terrorist attempt on Christmas Day.

I couldn't imagine having to go and not being able to get up. 5 minutes is long enough for us, but an hour?

You know, as soon as I heard that, I was like WHAT??? Hubby is going to Paris for work soon - I...wanna....go!! But with that for at least two flights because there isn't a direct flight from where we are - mmmm, maybe not. The only thing I can think of is maybe seeing if they will permit a note from your doctor stating you have a chronic illness that may require urgent bathroom access?

Are you a member of the CCFA? The member card has this on the back.

Hmm I live in Canada, I wonder if we have a card with that on the back. That'd come in handy haha. Last year I went to Hawaii and when I was visiting Pearl Harbour I had an emergency and the park ranger let me use the emergency bathroom out there! Now how many people can say they have done that? HAHA!

Mike:

No I do not have one, nor am I a member. I was unaware those were available. Let me ask if you ever had to use it, and what was the response of whom you showed?

I haven't had to use it yet. I came close though, once. I don't have any issue with pulling this card on someone/ anyone. If I have to go, I have to go. Plain and simple. Like Crazy said, how many people get to do that. I use whatever bathroom, whenever I need it. I'm almost certain that most people would understand and see it as ok with them. I'm not sure if the card is meant for it. I would certainly assume it is. I mean it is on the back of the member card.

Hey Crazy, become a member of the CCFC up there and they will send you one. Its pretty nice. There is a ton of info available there too. Plus the money that you donate goes to finding a cure for the blasted disease. Its my way of donating to the cause.

Yes they do have one in Canada, check out CCFC.ca or go to your LCBO and they should have forms, cause I see the signs for it there. I dont have one and I dont go to the LCBO either much.
