Almost off Pred... Hairy and ITCHEY!!!

Has this happened to anyone else???
Other then the GREAT news that im almost completely off prednisone (5mg every other day, started with 50mg) I have started to grow dark hair on my upper lip and cheeks(SO gross!) and... IM SO ITCHEY!!!! I know it sounds strange but the itchy skin and hair started right when I went down from 10mg to 5mg. Nothing else has changed (Soap, laundry detergent etc)

I got the same thing except my extra hair was more like sideburns and was very fine/blonde - I felt like a Muppet!

I got itchy too, but I have usually had a degree of itchy skin and allergies etc, and while on higher pred had none of that.

Got heaps of spots too as I weaned off - same seems to be happening with Entocort

Ohhh how I feel your frustration. I am incredibly itchy....all the time!! I have black hair on my lip and chin and its very course. They say the side effects go away when off of it....boy I cant wait. Im a hairy moon face who itches everywhere!!

I am on Entocort also and I am so sick of the hair above my lip and especially on my chin! I am really getting self concious about it. What do you guys do about it? I get so tired of getting the tweezers out.

Omg, started pred again yesterday and I'm dredding this!!
I didn't get hairy last time so it wont happen this time will it?? Pleasee?
How do you guys remove it? And will it definatly go away when we are off it?
