Amazed (and horrified) with all the various CD symptoms

I was thinking this morning, having woken up with a sore throat, that since CD is an auto-immune disorder exactly how many symptoms are CD related. I decided to make a list of the ones that I have had or currently have apart from the obvious direct CD related symptoms (diarrhoea, pain, vomiting, weight loss, bloating, etc.)

Sore throat
Joint pain
Fatigue
Fissures
Cramps
Tingling in fingers and toes
Headaches
Hives
Blurred vision
Abcesses
Brittle nails with a deep horizontal line through them (due to deficiencies)
Acne

These are just the physical manifestations. The psychological ones are also just as debilitating.

Please feel free to add to the list.

Yep :-( And add to these the side effects of the drugs. Wahhhhhhhhh!

Anxiety
Fear


Muscle pain
Changes in health of my hair(and I am very vain about my hair, so it really bothers me that I now have so many bad hair days because the effects of 2+ years of illness are really starting to show)
Bad breath
Fragrant gas - making being around people so much fun! Especailly when there is no dog nearby to blame it on!!!

I think you got them pretty well covered there!! But on the down side, everytime I go to the GP he puts whatever I have down to the crohns.... Easy for him huh!!

Lets not forget real farts - long loud and really stinky ones.
Loud bowel noises that are ohhhh so much fun in the middle of university exams

Mentally - irritability
Repetition - `Where is the closest bathroom`
Stupidity - it`ll kill me if I eat this, but it looks soooo goooood!

Isn`t that Spidey Sense? Actually, I have had that - you may have a minor reaction or side effect to a med you are on.

It must be spidey sense. im not on any meds as im still under investigation..
however im terrified of spiders. so it would be kinds ironic hehe
