Ever since I had my first period, I had contsistant healthy periods.starting this past January though I have yet to have a period and there is no chance whatsoever that I could be pregnant. I guess my question is, is tha withCrihn's are irregular and or missed periods more common? My gynecologist ran a full work up and there is no gynecological reason of why I haven't had a period and it is just starting to worry me, since I am only 23 and would like to one day have kids haha. Thanks for any advice!

I missed my period for 4 months prior to a serious flare once in my 20's-I was newly married and thought I was pregnant for sure. It happened to me on and off, my doc's answer was if you have alot of health problems, sometimes your body will just stop the menstrual cycle out of shock to your system.

Yeah, I'm in the midst of a very large flare, though not "underweight" for my height, I have so many nutritional deficits that I'm thinking are contributing to it. I asked both my GI and Gyno about it, and definitely contri used to complications from crohns, since I'm in perfect shape in the gynecologal department haha. I just have to keep it in the back of my mind when I want to have children, which is no time soon hehe
