Hi there, I'm new here and hope this group can help. I was diagnosed with severe Crohns in August 2015, in remission since December 2015. I'm on Humira and 6MP. In addition to Crohns, I also have spondyloarthritis and some form of psoriasis (so my immune system is all kinds of crazy). Since starting Humira, the symptoms for all 3 conditions have subsided, but this week I started to notice psoriasis issues again and I'm worried it's the beginning sign of Humira not working any more, and I don't want to risk going into a crohns flare! Does anyone have any experience/input on this?
I also just noticed mucus in my stool for the first time, but no pain so idk if that's something related or not.
Thank you in advance.

Are you having any symptoms of the Crohns? It could be a possibility the Crohns is flaring but I don't know. You might want to ask your doctor. Let us know how you are.

I have psoriasis also and I have wondered if when my psoriasis kicks in if the Crohns is flaring.

There are blood tests your doctor can order to determine whether the Humira is losing effectiveness due to antibodies against Humira being generated.

I am supposed to be going to see the specialist or rather to his office tomorrow for blood work and a stool sample to see if the Humira is being effective.
