Hello everyone. I posted a while back about possibly conceiving, well my IUD is out and the Drs gave me the green light! I'm in full remission, excellent labs and a healthy weight. My GI said now is the time, because no one really knows how long remission will last. A little background, I have fistulizing crohns. Had a few different parts resected and have an ileostomy, named Sassafrass. I had surgery 4 years ago, and started remicade the same year. Have been in remission since (after a 5yr flare!) We are both excited and nervous. My cycles are very regular, and this will be our second cycle TTC. I was wondering if there's anyone that's in the same boat, or recently pregnant or had a baby that wants to share their experience? I'd love to hear your story and hopefully share mine as well. I'd like to post updates on here as well. There aren't too many threads on pregnancy with Crohns and an ostomy. I'm also on the lowest dose of Remi, 5mg/kg every 8 weeks. If that makes a difference. Thank you for reading!
