Any tips for managing Crohn’s with IVF?

Hi, everyone; I rarely post here, but I have a question. I have had Crohn’s for a while now. However, I am also currently undergoing IVF treatment from the best IVF centre in Punjab. I am really excited to start my motherhood journey. However, I do not want to exacerbate my Crohn’s symptoms. Has anyone here undergone IVF with Crohn’s before? Are there any things you recommend that I take into consideration? Thanks in advance for all your help!

I think this is a serious topic that needs to be discussed with your doctors, especially in regards to the drugs that you have been using for the treatment of CD.

I am not a woman, I have a very superficial knowledge on this topic; but there are female members (mothers) on this forum that may have knowledge and experience on this topic. I will tag two of them: if they have anything to add to this, I believe they may do so.

I have read and heard from a few people (including one or two doctors) that the increase in progesterone during pregnancy can sometimes put Crohn’s into remission by itself, without using drugs. This is only anecdotal, don’t take my word for it.
