Fed up with modern meds

Guest
For the majority of the last eight years I've gotten care with meds for mild symptoms because I didn't have insurance. I was either without anything or had poor county healthcare. I worked as a temp for a while and checked into get Blue Cross, but because I had a history of Crohn's they wouldn't give it to me. I received mild-symptom meds like Pentasa and Sulfa Salazine. The first couple of years when I got a terrible flare, I wouldn't even go to the hospital because I didn't have insurance. Over time, though, I come to not care and would take myself everytime I got a bad flare. Hell, I used to pay $25 a month on a ten G hospital bill, but over time I had about fifteen different bills from around the country. At that time, it simply became too expensive, so I quit paying all my bills. Now I have Medicare because I get SSI and Social Security, so I don't worry about hospital cost anymore.

Anyone have any similar stories?
