Has anyone heardof diarsoothe, supposed to be for diarrhea. I still can't do coffee. I'm giving it a few more days. Is this common for you guys? I'm talking about just a cup, nothing outrageious.

It looks like yet another shoddy "dietary supplement" which means there could be anything from lead paint, dried vomit, and the actual stuff listed on the bottle in there. Pass.

I agree with Orchid. I just tracked down the actual website for the product, a complete waste of money. It's blackberry juice concentrate. It would be cheaper and more delicious to just eat blackberries.

Well, eating blackberries kind of defeats the purpose for ibs folks, because there is too much fiber in the berry. I read some comments from amazon, yeah a mix, but some were really positive. we'll see...:)

another possible thought- I LOVE, I mean, love colloidal silver. not naming brands, but they have totally helped me with sinus. the are considered a "supplement," but I took a chance, and I'm so glad I did. (My son uses it too, and loves it- he suffers horrible allergies.) anyway, just because it's "natural" doesn't mean it's bogus.

Orchid (Love that name, had some Orchids planted one year- so beautiful) Ok, call me human guinea pig- I tried colloidal, worked great for sinuses. will tell you about diarsooth...call me brave, pleeeeeaasse!:)

I was just using it as an example. It's easy to mush and strain juice through cheese cloth or muslin to extract the juice for cheaper.

Blackberry brandy is an old remedy for Diarrhea.

Not suggesting that for a chronic condition but Blackberries likely do have something that can help in some cases.

They grow in my yard, but I have never really tested for any effect.
I just eat them.

Colloidal silver products like Silver Sol etc. can decrease essential vitamins and nutrients that Crohn's patients are already commonly deficient in and can cause fever and has been known to cause Argyria (permanent discoloration of skin tissue ranging from gray-blue).

My grandparents also took Colloidal silver and complained of diarrhea. Sometimes we have to accept the fact that a lot of the products out there are bogus. People want a quick "healthy" fix but often find it's not healthy at all and fixes nothing.
