When I got cut, I had a chunk of ilieum chopped (which is pretty standard for Crohn's sufferers), but at the same time they took out my Gall Bladder they chopped about 8 centimeters of the adjacent intestine. I had issues at both ends of the small intestine.
Being I got chopped a little higher up I'm not suprised I have occasional issues with the upper gastrointestinal area (esophagus). The lower part (ileum) which had more extensive surgery initially seems to be dormant.
My Chrohn's was in the Gall Bladder?
