it's Budesonide. (Entocort) each capsule contains 3mg of Budesonide.
It's not as harsh as Pred but it's a steroid and goes straight to the small intestine and the beginning of the large; rather than the whole system like Pred.
I did well on it and it's the first thing I pop when I flare up.
Have you started on 9mg? I stayed on this for 6 weeks, then tapered to 6mg for a month and so on.
