Anyone re-start Humira after being off of it?

Hey! In exact same shoes as you, started again last Friday and everything seems to be working! Just noticing the itching coming back a bit. Did you have surgery or did u just go off humira? I went off humira a year ago and had surgery, then been having pain since november but thought it was just adhesion pain but it is actually crohns again in 2 more meters of bowel

yes my story is similar; stopped humira had a resection surgery, a year went by and on a followup colonoscopy - all portions of the ileum he could get to were inflammed, erosive, etc.. - he said he could get to about 20 cm. But I have to assume more length of the ileum must look like that. So, yes, back on humira - it will take some time to get the shots. I can't say I'm looking forward to it but I don't want more extensive surgery!

I know what you mean I know the crohns will break thru again, it was only a couple of months last time I was on humira. But it's the best option before surgery, and surgery is definitely no cure! It is nice having a wee break from the pain though. Gives me a bit of time to regain my sanity !
