Saw my GI today. He asked me to try this new release style of mesalamine called APRISO. It is release in the colon instead. Well seeing I need to get off the prednisone ASAP due to this Osteoperosis that I just got. I hope it works and I don't get side effects like the Asacol tried 2 years ago. I am interested in anyone who is on this and or has tried this to see how it worked for them and if they had any side effects.
Anyone taking APRISO??? Has it worked.
