Hi, it's been a while. Not sure if you all remember me but my diagnosis was IBS not Crohn's an i've recently had my appendix and a cyst removed (nice!).

Anywhoo, i came here to share with you how Aloe Vera gel drink has helped me. It's been a few weeks since i started drinking it purely for the intention of seeing if it can reduce my IBS symptoms and moreover get my digestive system moving more regularly (IBS-C) an i've found that it has. I take a small amount (10ml) in the mornings on an empty tummy and then have my normal breakfast and i've found that my bowels are moving smoother and more regularly.

There have also been testimonies that it's helped with Colitis too, so i thought to myself what's the worst that can happen if i give it a go? I've invested in quite a few OTC meds which honestly haven't helped and i thought to give this a shot and now i'm sharing it with you coz i know how it feels (the toilet side of things)

Sincerely hope it helps you as it's helping me.

Hi I am quite new here, But have suffered with crohns for a long time now. and just looking through the forum saw your post, and have to say YES Aloe vera does help crohns, I will say this though you MUST get one that only uses the inner leaf not the outter leaf as it is toxic, also do not waste your money on cheaper brands as they have things added to them and could do us more harm than good. a friend of mine advised me to use Aloe vera after she had great results from it so thought I would give it ago and not looked back since. I have been taken it now for about 2 years and have had great results, BUT I use the for everliving Aloe vera gel drinking 30 ml a day took more to start with. it is a natural anti flam so helps a great deal, you will need to add the drinking gel to a small drop of juice to take away the taste although after about a week you get use to it, hope this helps I must add although there has been some negative info regarding it you must remember do not use products with the whole leaf it can be toxic.
