I have moderate to severe rectal Crohn's and so far I have had awful reactions to all the conventional meds I've tried. I am trying some alternative things now. Has anyone had good results with this supplement?

Looks like a typical mixture of vitamins and minerals with extracts of some herbs and spices. It probably won't hurt you, except maybe in the pocketbook. If you decide to try it let us know if and how well it works for you.

I would be very cautious. I haven't used it however I did find these:

http://www.fda.gov/ICECI/EnforcementActions/WarningLetters/2013/ucm367142.htm
(A letter from the fda stating they are not a "medical food" and to stop advertising for IBD)

http://www.metagenics.com/metagenics-difference/breakthrough-science/clinical-studies
(A page by them where they mention clinical studies but also say how most of their studies are done by their own lab as well as some outside clinical trials however they don't make reference to any of these trials, that's a red flag for me, if they really did the trials and proved benefit they should want to post a link to results to establish credibility)

I have already tried it, but without luck for arthritis. Metagenics is one of most trusted brand by naturopaths (alternative doctors). UltrainflammaX is like an enteral diet, and enteral diets do work for lots of CD patient.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the replies. I don't know if I'm going to try it yet, but I am just desperate for anything that might help.

If you are looking for a more "natural" approach probiotics might be good. I had heard VSL3 (I think it is) helps and it has some studies behind it (though I haven't looked into it too much).
