Aphthous ulcers

Hello.

I had a capsule endoscopy in January that showed multiple aphthous ulcers in the terminal ileum.

I was wondering if these ulcers can heal on there own. Or do you need medication to heal these ulcers?

Today I had my second capsule endoscopy. I am trying to figure out or wondering what this capsule will show.

What are people experience with aphthous ulcers?

Sometimes they have healed on their own and at other times I have had to use medicine. Mine have always been in my mouth as far as I am aware. Forgive me. I think my answer is not what you are looking for since they had to take out my terminal ileum. I know there will be others who can answer you.
