Are Hydrating Enemas Effective?

I saw this online and was wondering if anybody has ever tried using a hydrating enema?

0.75 liters of room temperature water
5 tablespoons of real sugar
1 tablespoon of real sea salt

I frequently struggle with dehydration and have learned that sometimes the ER will not help until dehydration is severe, so I am looking for some alternatives when I cannot keep anything down.

I have never heard of this nor do I know how effective or safe that is but I'm definitely interested to learn. Are you unable to keep anything down? Coconut water is very mild and effective if you can tolerate it. Maybe you can purchase an electrolyte tab that dissolves on the tongue so you don't need to eat or drink?

Yea, they look interesting, but not willing to try it until I can confirm they are not harmful. My doctor gave me something for the nausea/vomiting, which has helped a lot with the dehydration.

Yes, Zofran. It has been working well for me.

It's good stuff, takes a little while to work but a nice tool when really nauseous.
