Asacol not working - what else can I take?

I am taking Asacol but it is no longer working. What other meds can I take? I have a very, very bad needle phobia so no injections.

Have you taken any medications other than the Asacol? Methotrexate is available in pill form, so that is an option. Imuran / Azathioprine / 6-MP are also pills. Has your doctor suggested any of these medications?

I am taking Imuran too. But my doctor knows of my very bad phobia and said for me to take Humira, I will talk about taking other pills with him and about Methotrexate.
