B12 injection

I was very low in B12 and my GP prescribed 6 injections over a 2 week period and then every 3 months.
After my first one I was buzzing for about 24 hours although it did give me a dose of the big D.
For me it has really helped to start to turn things around.

yeah same for me those 6 injections were awful!! Do you know if every 3 months is standard dosing cause i think i may need them more often so may ask the doc next time if i can have them every 2 months? (not that i enjoy having them!!)

My GP told me every 3 months but I have just had my B12 levels tested (2 months after the loading dose) and if they are low I will have it one month early.
