Back on Pred :(

I was taken off pred put on Enticort. Seen GI again today and as my legs are all broken out and sore (Erythema Nodosum...which I posted about the other day asking what these weird lumps are on my legs and someone kindly helped me out Gi confirmed it is infact erythema nodosum )he says try Pred again. If there is no improvment within a week i've to get IV steroids. I really hate Pred makes me such a nut case!! I'm feeling sorry for my poor husband already. So not looking forward to taking 8 a day again boo!! Also why am I to try it again when it didn't help last time?!? meep

I have dealt with prednisone alot.. I was on it, up and down doses (60mg a day for awhile), but constantly for 13-14 months straight and it just ruined my body in ways that weren't ruined before I started taking it. It also made me a nut case as well and since I've been off of it, I've noticed not only do I physically feel a bit better, but mentally, I'm so much better off. That stuff really does send you for loops.. I hope they figure out the right remedy for your issues that are going on, best of luck to you, and keep us updated!
