Hello Friends,

Just wanted to stop in and give a long needed update. After an exploratory surgery found severe endometriosis I had a complete hystroectomy....and boy do I feel better from that. Its been 5 weeks of recovery now and Ive been doing well. Every three of four days I go through a CD mini flare. I get really bad fatigue and exhaustion. Ive had minimal pain in my abs, but all over my body seems to take the place for my abdominal pain. I havnt been eating well at all....infact very sick to my stomach most days...but thats ok, I can deal with that. Ive had a little bit of a rough time going through menopause...but Im a trooper and making it through. Last night I felt pretty bad to wake up this morning with the dreaded bloody stools....ick. Ive been really fatigued and exhausted all day...worst today then the last weeks. The bloody stool is soft and a lot of mucos. Im not really sure whats going on...but definately hope it goes away. Im due for my Remicade in a few weeks, just hoping I can make it!! Thanks for all your support my friends.

glad the hystroectomy is making you feel better female wise. but i hate to hear your crohns is giving you fits. maybe you should contact your GI and get checked out if it doesnt get better soon.

Wow Bev, you sound great despite the crohn's troubles!! Hope the Remi gets that in check for you too!!

How's your son doing now??

Ethan is doing pretty good, he has his days, and its so crazy....at 4 yrs old, he knows his and my triggers. My hubby was in hosptial with some crazy illness two weeks ago, and poor Ethan woke up with crazy D...lots of mucos but no visible blood. I feel so bad for him though, because he is a kid and kids will be kids. When daddy was in hospital I took both kids out for a slurpee and park time...within 20 mins of drinking his slurpee, he was really miserable, severe D, terrible tummy cramps. We spent 45 mins in the 7-11 bathroom for him to decide it was best to go home. It hurt me really bad to see him so ill over some sugary drink. However, all in all...he is doin a lot better now that we have a clue. He still doesnt take any meds, just try to control it with diet and stress reducers. Thanks for asking Mark. How about EJ??
