Balloon for stricture

Hey all, my doc thinks he sees a stricture in my colon literaly right above my bhole yes a great place for one of these buggers. He is going to attempt to use a balloon and a steroid injection to dialate the stricture if there is one there. I am wondering if anyone has had this procedure and how affective was it. Im nervous because of the location of the stricture. Thanks!
