What type of exercise is best for people with IBD? Swimming? Weight lifting? Yoga? What works best for you? I'm still trying to figure out what to add to my fitness regimen.
I used to do yoga, which made me feel quite good, but I stopped after a series of flares knocked me down. I really should get back into it. Lately I've been walking a lot, as I just got a dog with the intention to take her on nightly walks. So far it's been mixed results, some nights after we get home from walkies I feel good, but other nights I feel totally exhausted and my guts aren't too happy. If I could afford a gym membership, I'd definitely try swimming or at least sit in the hot tub.
