Black string on seton????

My seton is so much looser now after a few weeks. Now that it's looser I can see what looks like a thin black thread attached to the seton where the knot is. Is there suppose to be string? My seton is red but I see this black thread hanging from it. Perhaps underwear thread got caught in it? Not sure. Should I pull on it? I don't see surgeon again for a few more weeks.

I think it is the suture thread with which the seton is stitched. I dont think you should pull on it. It should be there.
