Bladder problems update, 4 months after surgery!

getting really frustrated still having bladder problems 4 months after surgery. saw my surgeon last month and he said he never cut anywhere near the nerves for my bladder and the issues are not from the surgery itself. He assured me of this as I asked him several times.

He said it could be from the catherter. I've had catherters used before and it's healed a month max after. This is 4 months now!

My symptoms are pain when peeing, like a stinging sensation. pain when ejaculating, not maintaining an erection for long. My urine test came back normal. The doctor has put me on antibiotics for 3 weeks to see if it helps.

This is really getting me down. Has anyone experienced this? and what helped you? I'm losing the plot. any advice would be appreciated.

Hi I went to see a urologist last week, he put me on 3 weeks of antibiotics. I really need this sorted. can't understand what's going on.

Has anyone else had symptoms like this after surgery? i'm so depressed by this!

Are you on any probiotic? My doctor has me on probiotic and anytime I have been on probiotic I have been told to double it while on antibiotic.

I'm on acidophilus probiotic supplements with mega potency of 3 billion cultures.

Do I double the probiotic or antibiotic dose?

I had bladder issues for the first few weeks after surgery but not as long as you. How is your bladder doing since being put on medication?
