Hi Steve!

Are you talking about bleeding peptic ulcers. Then yes I've had plenty of stomach ulcers. I usually take prescribed meds if the symptoms and pain are mild, but if I'm in severe pain I will go to the ER. You should seek medical attention ASAP--that's my advice. Until then stay away from foods & beverages that have a high concentration of acid (no tomato's, carbonated beverages, etc).

Hope you feel better!

Hi Lee,

As far as I know that's what it is.
Im not in any pain at all, that's the most annoying thing about it. Its been like this for a while and when I saw the Doctor last month he said go on a liquid diet for a while to give my gut a rest...but that doesnt seem to have done much to be honest. He said to contact them if things dont change after a month. The month is up next week but I also see the dietician then too. So I might see if she has any ideas.

Regards,
Steve

Steve,

An all liquid diet is no fun. If you can tolerate dairy you could probably drink milk shakes:)

Going to the dietitian sounds like a good idea. I prefer trial and error with the Crohn's, but with stomach ulcers--the foods & beverages that irritate them are practically the same for everyone.
Have a great day!
Lee
