Nothing too serious I hope, but yesterday and today I have notice blood when I wiped my behind. No bowel movements at all, just felt need to wipe and sawy blood. (Sorry) I do have hemorrids from severe C, but seems odd that there would be blood with no stool. The only consistent med I am taking right now is 25 MG of Prednisone. Anyone have any thoughts?

Have same issue. On predisone and mezavant. Predisone at 40 mg was okay when I dropped to 30 and now 20 bleeding started up again much like you state. No to little stools but more and more presence of blood. Be interested to hear from others. Am new to dx so am wondering where diet control changes come in.

That is interesting that you noticed it when you dropped your dose on prednisone? I guess I never thought of that since I haven't been on it for too terribly long. I guess we will see what others say.

Years ago I had trouble tapering off Prednisone. I am hoping the taper off entocourt will go better for me. I am thinking if you are having bleeding without going to the bathroom you should check in with your dr.

Crohns is so individualized in symptoms- severity and diet control. For me fiber in fresh fruirt and veggies- cereals like Cherrios and wheat bread type things and spices can knock me over! For me it was trial and error. But, I am a quick learner. I don't often repeat those dietary errors.

Good luck and I hope you do well with your meds!

Thanks Lauren! Husband just said the same thing. Better safe than sorry for sure. Doing pretty good controling my diet. I know most of my trigger foods, and steer clear of them. Especially since being in the hospital a few weeks ago. I will call GI tomorrow. I saw him Monday and mentioned it, but I wasn't too alarmed by it until it happened again today. Thanks again.

No problem. I was in the hospital in Feb for 8 days. I was
alarmed by how fast I went downhill. It made me realized
things are happening even when we don't feel it or notice it.

Feel better soon!

Lauren
