Hi there,
I'm very new to this... Like today new.
I'm a sole parent in NZ. Along with that I work part time and study. My health has been up and down for the last ten years.
I always knew that adding study into my already busy life would no doubt result in me getting sick. I have been on azathioprine and pentasa for the last 9 years as well as frequent doses of prednisone amoungst other things (who can remember it all really?). I have recently added humira to the mix. I feel mildly better, but nothing to write home about. How long did it take other people to start feeling the positive effects?
The first 6 were absolutely no problem at all... Then on the 7th I got hives all over my stomach and a huge welt around the injection site and my stomach bloated something chronic. I did it again yesterday with the addition of an antihistamine. The hives didn't return, but the welt and bloating did. Up to 9-10cms. I don't know if anyone else has experienced this?
Anyway, I don't really know where else to talk to people about it.
cheers
