This has been going on for 3 weeks, and I just saw my GI today. I have a good deal of blood in my stool and some wet farts, and literally no other symptoms, no diarrhea, no tummy aches, no fever, no nausea. Not hemmys and not fissures... how concerned should I be?

I would not be super concerned, but be aware and monitor it very closely. Is it bright red blood? If it is, then the bleeding would most likely be coming from your rectum or lower colon. If it is dark, then it is further up in your colon or maybe even in your stomach. I would keep in touch with your GI and notify him if anything changes or gets worse.
