I was diagnosed with Crohn's 6 years ago. Only symptoms I have are cramps and pain around my ileum valve. However since yesterday when I go to the toilet I have some blood in my stop. Should I disregard it as another symptom or get it checked out thank you

I would call your doctors office and have a message sent to him/her. My doctor wants to know if I see any blood. I hope it's something minor. Good luck and keep in touch.

Blood in the stool is never a good sign. It might be time for another colonoscopy to see what's going on down there. Inform your doctor of the blood.

I would see your GI.
The first question my GI asks me is about my poop. So, I am always having to look at it, which is gross ( but the doctor wants to know. )
Sending you my support. 🌼

It really depends on what your doc says. Mine says that blood on its own is not a big deal, because I get so many hemmys and fissures (ouch!)... but if it keeps showing up for a week, then I should probably come in. If you are having blood accompanied by diarrhea and any stomach pain whatsoever, go in right now. I am currently in the same place and I have an appointment tomorrow. All the best!
