Blood tests??

Hi guys just a quick question. How often should you get a blood test when taking humira? Its been about 4 months since my last test and was wondering how often other people get blood tests as well?

I was still having blood draws every week for maybe a month. I had weekly draws for about 7 months though. I am still on Humira and now go once a month. It really is up to your doctor though, so I would call and see what he/she has to say about labs.

I rarely have blood tests on Humira, GI said no need for regular testing, had them for other things so we haven't bothered to do any specifically because of it. So I'd suggest maybe every 6 - 12months or so wouldn't be unusual.

My GI requires them every 3 months. I don't get bloods done for any other reason.

I've always had blood tests once a month (at least) and that hasn't changed since starting Humira, so I guess it shouldn't make much of a difference.
Ask your doctor, cos I guess it's up to him
