So I was diagnosed with Crohn's in early november, and by mid january had it under control with medication (6mp & lialda). In early March after my 20th birthday I got kicked off my mother's insurance for not being in school this semester, and ever since I have not been able to see a doctor or get any medication so I'm right back to this huge flare up I've been dealing with since the medication wore off in april.

I should be back on medication by september when my school papers are filled and the insurance clears it ..but my question is does anyone here get blurred vision? I'll stand up or walk up the stair or even attempt to go into another room and all of a sudden I can't see at all. It turns into "black spotty patterns" and I have to stop wherever I am for about 10-20 seconds until I am able to regain vision. Has anyone else had this kind of reaction or know what its due to?

yeah, it only happens after you stand up from sitting or laying down right?

that used to happen to me a lot, like every time i stood. i think it has something to do with anemia...just cause once my blood got a little better, then the black outs got better.
do you know if youre anemic? if youre flaring then it wouldnt be too unlikely. i would say go get a blood test, but it sounds like you cant

sorry that you dont feel good, i hope that youll start feeling better somehow, before september! thats far away

I was told I was anemic and they thought it was due to the crohn's but once the medication kicked in they realized that something else was making me anemic. Thanks, I hope I get better too before september ..its killing me lol.

I read your posts about your surgery, hope your feeling better! You actually sounded upbeat about going through with it, your brave for sure lol

No, not yet. Still the same ..been like this for awhile actually.
