Blurry vision from Cipro?

I know many here have been prescribed Cipro. I began taking it this morning and have now had two doses. As of this evening, my normally 20-20 vision is quite blurry. Has anyone ever experienced blurry vision that was attributable to the Cipro? Thanks.

Hi David,

I've had buckets full of Cipro and never had any problem other than a mild stomach upset. A read of the drug information would suggest that blurred vision is one of the few things not considered a side effect of using Cipro.

You know the next bit... If it's bothering you, speak to your Doctor or Pharmacist.

Yes I got blurred vision and swollen ankles the first time they put me on Cipro in hospital, but I presume that was because I was on steroids at time as well.

Hm...Drugs.com;askapatient.com;medhelp.org amongst others list blurred vision as a possible side effect of cipro...

I think you should let your body adjust to the drug, however, if your vision doesn't improve shortly I'd call your doctor about it.

Thank you both. I went to bed with blurry vision but woke up fine and have been ok since. I appreciate your help.
