Bowel looks like its swelling up?

I have a question,
Is it normal for the bowel/stomach area to swell up, only because mine has looked like it for a while now and i was just wondering if it was possible for it to do that? Also i did manage to get rid of the horrible constipation/bloating that i was getting ao i dont think its that.
Anyone got any ideas?

Distension is never normal especially since you have it for weeks. It can be a sign of partial obstruction. I would get it checked out.

Mine swells badly too, only one the right side, but for me its the first sign of a flare, or the first sign of a flare getting worse while its currently getting treated.

It's good to know I'm not the only one it happens to It's not just on one side though It's all over

I second NGNG - for me, I got the swelling/bloating when I had partials. In the early stages, it looked like I had the Alien moving around my belly looking for a way out! You could actually watch it move like a wave. Then it progressed to general bloating, severe enough at times that I was bent to nearly 90 degrees. It's not normal, and does need checking.
