:thumright:Your so right about The Mail. My father in law get it & its utter garbage.
Bread-I never eat brown anymore it irritates my belly. But I cant say that white bread does. In fact i'm sure it doesn't. I've given up a lot of food but I won't be giving up white bread. No way never.

I love bread so much. Dinner rolls is the best part of eating out! My husband thinks I am nuts and "bread is just a filler". But, to me, bread is the best part of the meal. But I have switched to white bread instead of wheat since my GI issues began.

I no longer can tolerate brown/wholemeal bread but I do so love the fresh baked white bread from the supermarkets. I find this much nicer than the mass produced branded stuff, if you know what I mean.
No way on this earth will I give it up. Its the one thing I can eat with very little repercussion.

And it's my safe food, as long as it's white, I'm never giving it up, never!

Ha ha ha Grant! Great minds think alike!

there was an article on the bbc website about bread. They were saying since a new type of yeast was introduced that bad bread rise quicker and be much fluffier theres been a sharp incerease in the people who are intolerant to bread (ie bloating etc)

I try to eat Spelt-based breads. I find them much easier to stomach than even regular white bread but like all specialty foods, gluten free etc, it costs more.

I bought a new bread machine but gonna try gluten free soon, I love bread too. Ancient grains was my fave but need to stop the bloating. I will post how good it is yum.
