bummed

This is just a vent. The Dr office were I get my remicade is no longer taking my insurance. I use to go to a hospital to get it but then I had to pay 10% so switched. Now I have no idea where i am going to get it. I am waiting on a call back from my GI. I hope they have another Dr office where I can go b/c I can not afford to go to hospital anymore. Thanks for letting me vent.

It is such a bummer how insurance dictates how we run our lives.
sorry about this...really stinks.

Hopefully you find a new place you like.

You can try contacting Centor, the drug manufacturer, and they can assist you with which medical facilities in your area are able to offer the infusions.

Another idea, can you contact the local CCFA chapter where you live?? Sometimes they have drug reps attend their meetings and hand out business cards to members in case they have questions/concerns about their treatments. Maybe someone in the office or support group has a card and can give you a contact to call. Just some ideas for you to try.

Good luck. :)
