Bye Bye Setons!

My surgeon removed my setons today! It is the most freeing feeling in the world. I thought this necessary to share.

Bad news is, still not definitive diagnosis. The CR surgeon is suggesting peri-anal crohn's, but I don't see the GI doc again until August. I saw the results from my last colonoscopy and small bowel follow through and so far no other area is affected.

Update: Setons are gone, but fistulas don't seem to be, they are back to swelling and draining pus on a daily basis. Not sure if this is from the original fistulas, or if new ones have formed and are draining out of where the setons use to be.

Seems like I'm never going to be rid of fistulas :-(

That sucks, surgeon says thats why he won't remove mine. Get on the strong anti-biotics ASAP! - Elemental diet?
