Are ther any advice for how much Garlic we should it during the day and how to prepare them in order to get the best health benefits?

Will raw or cooked Garlic be a better choice than fying it?

What about raw Garlic? I saw on a web site that heating would destroy the allicin content in Garlic. So are there any issues with eating it raw?

Depends how you consume it. Most foods with garlic are mixed with oil and/or butter which would be the bigger contributor to diarrhea. I make my own spaghetti sauce which has lots of garlic and it hasn't given me the runs, but garlic pizza can.

No experience eating it raw though.

its high in fodmaps AKA "fermentable olligosacharides disacharides and polyols" or something like that , so any more then 1 day a week and i start to feel a little weird, i suppose effects on gi diseases will vary. Veggies that i tolerate well are broccoli, spinach saur kraut/cabbage, while cauliflower, brussel sprouts, onions, garlic I will eat much less of or not at all. Read more about the fodmap diet and studies in IBS and IBD. Also read more about SCD diet aka specific carbohydrate diet.
