Candida after surgery

My son had surgery two weeks ago. All went well but he has developed horrible Candida rash in groin area. Tried lotrimin and now nystatin cream but no luck. He’s off all starches and has no sugar. Anyone else had this issue ? Suggestions?

Ask your doctor about Lamisil cream. Its an antifungal. It did a good job controlling a fungal infection I had when nothing else worked.

Sometimes doctors may give an oral anti fungal medication. Is he/ was he on antibiotics?
