I recently went to a homeopathic store in my area, and told the staff member that I had Crohn's. She recommended a probiotic, cat's claw, wheat grass, and fish oil. I have been taking it all, and feeling much better. However, I recently was out of Cat's Claw for a week and had two very bad days. I have restocked my supply and am feeling better. Has anyone else tried this herb for Crohn's? If so, how has it worked for you?

I've tried it for about a month, in a complex with a bunch of other anti-inflammatory/antioxidants, and never felt a noticable difference, but I really don't know of a reputable/standardised formula to be aiming for.

Also, I've never really researched the specific dosage/compounds and how they work. Not sure if it's been studied very thoroughly?

I tested it out before I was ill from Crohns but only because I was going to give it to my wife as a treatment for Lyme disease.

It did work for that disease, to a degree, but we knew the pathogen involved.

It is a natural antibiotic, but I doubt that it will kill all the pathogens involved with Crohns.

Keep us posted on you results.

Dan
