Last Friday DS had his first Remicade dose. At the time his CRP was elevated at 24 (normal 0-8) and was relatively high for him with extensive inflammation in his small intestine.

This past Wednesday, just 5 days post-Remicade, his CRP dropped to 8!! Whoa!

Think this calls for some celebrating?

Wooohooo!!
:dusty::dusty::dusty: (teenage boy so he gets cheerleaders)
Fingers and toes crossed that it continues.

Now quick turn around three times and spit on the ground

long may it continue

Hell Yeah! Way to go guys! And sacrifice some crows to the Crohns Gods...gosh forget who that started with...Sascot? Twiggy? Either way get to it!

He's feeling good :)

A little tired between being back at school and the IV abx schedule (6am, 2pm, 10pm), but hopefully he only has one more week of abx. The plan is to see his GI Friday morning, do his 2nd Remi infusion through his PICC in the afternoon, remove the PICC, and then resume normal life... for 100 years.

Thx for asking, Shell :) I'm feeling more like myself. Everyday at is a little better, a little brighter. I think that unexpected hospital stay just knocked the wind out of my sails. I'm back now - full steam ahead!
