Chemo or infusions?

Has anyone undergone chemo type treatment or infusions for treatment? I'm going to be referred to a GI who wants to use this kind of treatment for my UC, sounds really scary though! :O

I have a hematologist who wants me to try Rituxan. Is this what you're referring to? I've maxed out all the TNF stuff, and am hopefully moving on to Entyvio, but the hematologist thinks Rituxan would put me in remission. Apparently he has a lot of Crohn's and RA patients who receive it as part of a cancer treatment and it puts their diseases in remission at the same time. Good luck, and report back if you move forward with it!
