Chest X-Ray results

I was due to start Methotrexate on 24th October, the week before I had to have a chest X-ray. I got a phone call form my IBD nurse to tell me I can't start the Methotrexate because my x-ray results show I have been in contact with TB!! I have had a further blood test to see if I have latent TB but the results are inconclusive so I have to have another blood test on Wednesday, then the following Wednesday I have to have Chest CT scan.

Meanwhile I am having a flare of my Crohns and cannot take anything for it until they find out if I have latent TB or not :frown: Has anyone else been in this situation and what sort of medication have you been offered?

I'm sorry to hear about this newest hurdle From time to time we do see people here in the same situation as you. Out of curiosity, when you were on the azathioprine and 6-mp, did your symptoms get any better or did they get worse?
