Depends on why it failed. If it was because of antibodies then your body is still making those so you body would fight the med and make it less effective.
Sometimes a med stops working even without antibodies. Going back to it still increases chances your body has developed antibodies.
I don't know much about the flexibility and dosing schedule for Cimzia but with remicade the med can seem ineffectual because you body burns through the med too quickly, in which case, the dose is upped or the schedule shortened. If you body was just metabolizing cimzia too quickly going back to a shorter schedule or dose may be effective (though I'm not sure how you tweak cimzia) but still you're facing a higher chance of your body having developed antibodies.
