Cold after BM

Well was constipated with lots of mucus and not much else this lasted for several days while I got fat and bloated even eating my safe foods.

Anyway had trouble breaking the seal and when I finally did the BM's started while the bm's are ok theselves bit of pain but ok.

Anyway after the fourth BM i'm cold like from the inside of my body and my fingers and toes are cold aswell I'm really cold like shaking cold what the hell is going on.

I had some hydrocortisone as pre meds for my remicade and when I get off pred this happened once could this just be withrawal symptoms from the steroid

how long have you been on remicade? I think you need to talk to your GP asap about the shakes. It may be fine but better be safe than sorry

Whenever I get cold (inside out), I have found it is commonly when I have been fighting an infection in my body. Have some hot tea and keep layered up! Feel better soon and make sure you keep an eye on a temp!

He reckons no infection but might be something to do with the meds/crohns I was just wondering if anyone else on here had the same problem and sorted it out

I sometimes get like that after a bm.
Also go like it in bed at night as well.
Don't have a clue what it is. Will ask consultant next time I see him though.
Keep us updated if you find anything out.

this has happend to me as well. when i have a flare up and many BMs i drink gatorade after..it restores electrolytes and just makes me feel better as the day goes on and i dont seem to be as cold or get shaky.
