I get cold really easily. My body temperature is a little lower than most people. Does anyone else experience this.

I do .. interestingly enough my "normal" body temp is 97.2. Which of course makes it really complicated when doctors insist i do not have a fever at say 99

HI Ronroush7, i have had crohn's since 1990, and i still get the cold flashes and the hot sweats, the hot flashes are the worse. My bedroom is always cold about 17 degress C. i have to have it cold or i can't get any sleep. but, funny in the day time i am cold most of the time. so , yeah i have cold and hot flashes. it sucks, but i guess it comes along with this IBD.

Last year when I was sick (stricture), the cold went right through me, I thought it was due to a lack of fat on my bones.

Yes, but I doubt it has anything to do with UC.

I have had this problem since I was born, but only had UC since I was about 30.

Sometimes daily exercise can help poor circulation.

You should also get your thyroid and blood pressure checked.

I suggest thermal long-johns as the best thing since sliced bread!!! :)

I have raynauds and also small blood vessel vasculitis. When I go down to 96.6, I need to get up and move! Get the blood flowing!
