Colectomy w/ reversal: #toilet trips?

Am considering a reversal after a total colectomy.

If you have a total or partial colectomy with reversal, how many times do you run to the bathroom per day?

I think the rectum is saved with a total colectomy, Beth, so a pouch wouldn't be needed. As far as I'm aware, anyway.

I still have my rectum. Yes. As a Crohn's patient, I don't think a J-Pouch is an option.
