So, I had my first ever Colonoscopy today (Crohns of the small bowel/ileium was diagnosed via MRI scan in 2009) - thankfully it was no where near as bad as I had imagined, last night's prep was the worst bit.
I was given a report from the nurse after it (due to see my G.I to discuss in a next month) - the report notes 'mildly active Crohns - ileitis'.
However it also notes 'several small polyp like lessions in sigmoid colon and rectum and 'pseudo polyps or small focal areas of inflammation'
They took various biopsies but didnt remove any of the polyps - can anyone enlighten me on any of this? This was the first I'd even heard of polyps....eep!
